Week 9

Kia ora whānau,

Gala tonight 4pm: we hope to see you there, dressed in your warmest layers and gumboots!

Triathlon: Thank you to all the parents for help with marshalling, we couldn't have done it without you. A big shout out to Ashton, James & Noah for helping Ben P when he feel over during the running.

Things you need to know:

Seesaw- over the next couple of weeks, you will receive student reflections and teacher comments for; Managing Self, Inquiry, Maths, Reading & Writing. These will be posted when your child has completed their reflection, rather than all at once.

If you want to find out more about our new reporting process, please attend one of the three sessions that Juliana will be running next week.

If your child has a device at home, please bring it to school as it will reduce the strain on our classroom devices during the Learning Reflection time.

End of the day- It is essential that you are at school to pick your child up or have arranged an alternative - 2:50pm. We have had a discussion with the children again to remind them that they are to wait at the yellow seats by the office if no one is there to pick them up (NOT ON THE PLAYGROUND) as we can often be in meetings and are not responsible is anything were to happen.

Easter Weekend- School will be closed Friday, Monday & Tuesday.  Have a lovely time with your family.

Ngā mihi nui,

Molly & Paula

Help needed...

The Gala is now 2 weeks away now and there are still a large number of spaces to be filled on the roster to help on food stalls at the Gala. We need your help!

We have broken the night down into 2 different shifts : 4pm-5.30 or 5.30-7pm. Please let Krissie know if you are available and which shift suits you best. Each stall will have most of the food preparation done so your job will be nice and easy. We can't run the gala without help from the parents in our community so please step up and get involved.

Please text or email Krissie with your availability. I look forward to hearing from you.
